Question Am I losing too fast?

Hello! I have been following CAD after recently doing 5 months on Atkins. I have been following plan D having CM breakfast, no lunch, and RM at supper. I have lost 3lbs in one week after averaging the weekly weights! Is this too much since I'm so close to my goal? Should I try to eat a CM lunch as well? I feel GREAT and am not hungry or weak at all. Just wondering what everyone else thinks I should do. I have heard many gain when switching from Atkins, but not I.

Cool What I would do

Since you are feeling so good on what you are eating now, I would leave things alone for another week and see what happens. If you lose that much again then you might want to add another CM or a snack.

It sounds like CAD is really well suited to you, shannonlea....thats great!

Smile Thanks

Thanks for the replies! I tried CAD back in March, but only did it a week and went back to Atkins. It's hard for me to get used to not snacking!! lol I ate so much of the time on Atkins. But I'm hanging in and trying to make this a WOL for me! I notice not many people come to the CAD discussion thread. Well, thanks again everyone!

I noticed, too, that not many people come on the CAD site. I asked a question and I have had 8 hits, but noone wanted to take the time to reply. Congrats on your weight loss. Nothing seems to be working for me, so it's back to the way I did it a few years ago when it did work for me. Good luck to you.

CAD thread has it's ups and downs. There aren't that many of us here so consequently a lot of the discussion goes on in journals. Keep posting though. It would be nice to get this going a little. We have been growing lately so there may be more of us than we know.

Gretchand....I did post a reply, but know I'm wondering...how long have you given CAD to work? Maybe you need to give it more of a trial..what do you think?

Shannon...I wouldn't change anything unless you get hungry. Don't ignore hunger. If you need the extra CM, use it, if not....
I only eat 1 CM too, however, really hungry today, so had a small CM breakfast today. Some days are like that. Listen to your body.

Deb

Deb, I haven't been on CAD long, but doing it the old way is so similar to the CAD program except for the addition of the Metabolean which gives me way more energy and keeps me from craving and being hungry during the day. I am a major carb addict and even doing CAD for the week that I did it, I was still craving. I will give this a shot and let everyone know how I am doing. Thanks for the support.
