Default Acid Reflux

I have acid reflux, and was wondering if any of you that do have it suffer from this. Sorry to be so nasty but this morning I felt as though food was in my throat and then when I spit I was able to get the actual bits of stuck food out of my throat. Tonight after I ate I felt fine like nothing was stuck then about 20 minutes ago I felt like their were pieces of food stuck in my throat and I spit and there was bits of food in my throat again. Does anyone know if this is related to acid reflux? I know going to the Dr he will just want to do an edoscopy and I can't at the moment so there is no use going, plus it's not that bothering except till the food is out.

All I can say is that you shoul definately go to the dr. asap. Food blockage could be serious. Also, when I had a problem with this (maybe you know this) I had to ALWAYS wait at least an hour before lying down to bed.

Good luck.

Angry re: acid reflux

Dear Love, I have a hiatal hernia and serious acid reflux. LC has improved it to the point I rarely notice it anymore!! Heavy carb meals are the worst thing you can do. Smaller meals will help and do not eat before going to bed.

I take 1 nexium each day and I have had endoscope done. This is important because the esphosogus can be damaged by reflux. The food sticking in the throat is something I have never experienced. Seeing a Doc is very important. Try to go asap and keep us updated on what's happening.

Feel better soon, HL
