Default Veges vs Vege Juice

I am on the PP plan. Can i substitute my Vegetables for an 8 oz glass of V8 which has 10 carbs? I know it is more that i would get if i ate a salad or something but..... Sometimes i dont have time to go to the store to get all the salad makings.
Help

Sorry, Pokey..

Juicing veggies concentrates their natural sugars and removes the beneficial fiber which makes it a lot more likely that you'll get an insulin response even from those 10 grams. I suppose you could drink the V8, but I can almost guarantee you that you will be a lot hungrier a lot sooner than if you have eaten 10 grams of carb worth of whole veggies instead and you'd soon find your body was missing the fiber that it needs to keep things running smoothly.
You don't have to eat just salad, you know. You can eat a lot of other veggies, cooked or raw, such as cucumber, celery, green peppers, broccoli and cauliflower. All of those are great with a nice creamy dip.
