Default LIP TEST STRIPS---Still not Turning!

I'm almost 4 weeks on Atkins, and my lip test strips are STILL not turning!! Could it be that I'm THAT metabolically resistant!?!?

I'm losing weight (7 lbs so far)...it's my TOM......should I just not worry about it?

Also, still feeling dizzy now & then...getting a feeling I should eat more carbs. Only really have a salad w/few veggies every day.

Thanks!

I vote for not worrying about it! Some people never show positive on those test strips, but still loose.

As far as your veggies go, it sounds like you need more. As far as feeling dizzy - are you taking a good multivitamin? Sometimes getting some extra pottasium in can help with the dizzies - but if you are on high blood pressure meds, talk with your doctor first.

I agree with Talon You are losing weight, so whether or not you are in ketosis doesn't really matter. If you aren't already taking a multi-vitamin and potassium, then you really need to. Also, if you log in what you are eating onto fitday.com you will see what nutrients you are lacking. For me, fitday underscored the need for a daily multi-vitamin. Good luck.
