My son is in college and is living with us so he will definitly be here. Where there is food that is where he is. hehe

Thanks! And Happy TG to everyone too!

I was assigned to bring the appetizers! wooo hooo so here is what I am bringing:

deviled eggs
cheese/pepperoni/olives/pickles/crackers
salami rolled with cream cheese
spinache/cheese puffs

With all these low carb apps, and some turkey, I will survive thanksgiving without eating stuffing and potatos!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! May there be low carb treats to keep us full, satisfied and strong. Amen

We are staying home this holiday and spending time together as a family and I'll be helping the DW prepare the turkey.

We're going to two Thanksgiving feasts, one tomorrow and one on Friday. Looking forward to seeing my family - even though we all live mostly in the same area, it's impossible to see everyone at once other than major holidays.

Happy Thanksgiving, TDCers!

Scott

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! We have a total three thanksgiving dinners this year, last Sunday with DH's family, and tomorrow at 2 with my mom and at 6 with my dad. ACK...... I did great Sunday, so I hope I can do as well tomorrow....I hope my sister-in-law doesn't make those rolls that she is famous for....or I WILL be drooling uncontrollably!!

Don't have much time, just wanted to pop in and say Hi!! Hopefully I will have more time after the wedding!! Only 31 days to go!!! :-Þ

I'm also looking forward to celebrating the holiday with my family tomorrow...
...and even though it's been a sad and difficult year, it is still easy for me to make a long list of things to be thankful for.

I'm armed with LC side dishes to pass at dinner tomorrow and I have a LC Chocolate Cheesecake to have after turkey instead of Mom's pumpkin pie--actually in the past I was known for responding, "PIE CAKE PIE", to Mom when she would call out from the kitchen to inquire which dessert I wanted. That meant I wanted apple pie, chocolate cake, and pumpkin pie all on the same plate (with ice cream)! Cross my heart. And they would feed it to me that way too! No wonder I was big as a house!

Anyway, I'm thankful every day for this forum and the wonderful people here that help me to stay focused on LCing and better health choices.

Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating it tomorrow!

Donald

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and a quick "Thank You" at the same time. This is the first holiday that I can remember where I am looking forward to the fun time spent with friends and family and expecting the scales to keep moving down at the same time! Instead of worrying about how much weight I might gain over Thanksgiving, I am worrying if I will need to buy smaller pants for Christmas. This is truly a happy and healthy and very thankful Thanksgiving for me. Much of the credit goes to you wonderful, supportive, caring and sharing people on this board. Thanks.
Marie

Well I'm a little late but happy thanksgiving to every one. I'm sure we are all cheat free and still on our low carb plans because we all preplanned for every thing coming our way.
