Question Dry hair -- is it usual?

I'm only in my 3rd week of Atkins, but it seems like my hair is getting very dry. Is this normal, and should I be taking some supplement to avoid it? My hair is very fine and dries out easily.

Are you taking any supplements? I take a Bcomplex and my daily vitamin (geritol, I know the old people's vitamin...but they are really good, because they have eveything in them), the B vitamins are making my hair grow like crazy, it's also making it thicker. I also take a flax seed supplement (which is an oil) and vitamin e. My hair tends to be a little dry naturally, but since I have been taking these suplements my hair has been in better condition.

I've been taking regular multivitamin/mineral supplements for years. I also take extra C & E. Today I picked up some B-complex to add to the mix. I was taking flaxseed oil for my skin last summer, but stopped because it was so expensive. Maybe I should start it again?

Thanks for your suggestions, gecolon!

Your welcome coquina. Do you have a Wal-mart where you live? The sell the supplements at a reasonable price.
