I just saw a thread for low carb christian moms, and I thought we need ours.
I am 25 years old and will be married for 2 yaers in august. Started atkins on the 29th of may . I'm 5'7 and my goal weight is 150. DH is very supportive and I can tell you this. It has only been by God's grace. I commit my progam in his hand always and ask him to give me the strength and motivation. I pray and ask to like the food again when I start craving for carbs.
I know we can do all things through christ who strengthens us. Together we can encourage each other and take care of God's temple.

I would like to invite you to the Low Carb Christian Mom Thread. It orginally started over a year ago as a Stay At Home Christian Mom thread. I chose to post on it at the end of last year, just because of Christian being in the Thread Title.

I am a Christian mom, but not a stay at home mom. Needless to say, the thread puttered out and has just been revived in the past couple of weeks. Just yesterday, I asked Doreen if should change the name to indicate whether you were an outside the home working mom or a stay at home mom we wanted on the thread. She came up with the new title of Low Carb Christian Mom, which is good because ladies who were posting on it will probable still recognize it.

Ok, I need to get to the point ... I know of at least one women on that thread that is not a mom and suspect prob another one or two (i think there is only 5 or 6 of us). So it really is NOT a Christian Mom thread ... just a Christian Thread

Well that concludes my sales pitch.
