Default Boots Dietline Low Carb Products

Having once banned people from buying Ketostix 'in case' they were following that fad diet' Boots are not only now stocking Atkins products, but seemingly have also launched their own range low carb products. I've just come across them on their online site (talk about jumping on the bandwagon):

Dietline is a unique diet plan that has been scientifically designed to help you get the best from your weight loss plan and limit the feeling of hunger.

This low carb high protein diet is an efficient slimming diet, which may help to protect healthy muscle tissue during weight loss.

The advantages of the Dietline, High Protein Low Carb diet are:
Rapid effect on the figure
Limited feeling of hunger
Maintains lean tissue while reducing body fat
Dietline Program with each product
Compatible with Dr Atkins or any other low carbohydrate program
Easy to follow
Low fat

Great Variety
Dietline offers large range of products to help give you a tasty variety of interesting foods, from drinks, soups and pastas to chocolate bars, cakes and deserts.

Click here to see their range of products

Has anyone else come across them in the shops ??

But what worries me is that these products are also LOW FAT! (see above).

Well well well, the hypocritical baskets! Anyway, it'll be good generally for low carbing as Boots are highly respected.

I think the low fat thing is a bit of an attempt to be all things to all men (and keep the South Beachers on side).

Taliking of South Beach, I wonder just how much sand you're allowed to eat on the South Beach diet....

I think these products are well over-priced, hopefully if Asda etc do start getting serious about low-carbing then the prices should start coming down!!!

I have had some similar sweet stuff and they are nice (if you have a sweet tooth like I have!), and they do make a welcome change from sugar-free jello - but cost so much!!! Maybe it is a detterent so you dont go ballastic and eat the whole pack!!!!
