Default Funny story

Im a college student, so eating on the run is my life. Tonight I had a meeting, and I had a rough night, so I was forced to eat fast food...with no bun, of course. So as Im driving, Im eating a burger king cheeseburger with no bun...and I look over to the side of me at the red light, and theres this woman looking at me like Im insane. hehe I laughed.

I also get those looks in the restaurants. Not too many people using a fork and a knife in the fast food restaurants at supper time.

try eating a pizza with a knife and fork, picking off the toppings, in a college cafeteria, in addition to a burger with no bun. everyone will think you are a total psycho, and will even ask you what you are doing.

I've gotten used to the feeling that people think I'm insane...about food. I'm used to them just feeling it in general!
Just tonight my mom and I split some wings and a lovely salmon fillet with creamy dill sauce. I'd forgetten to ask for extra veggies instead of the potato, so we just ignored it. When the waitress came to take our plates, she wanted to know what was wrong with the potato!
Maybe I should have said, "It makes us fat." But she was a young, slim person...probably has no idea.
Yet.

Rishamoon: There is a recipe here somewhere called Meat-zza. It is exactly what you are dreaming of: a ground meat "crust" with pizza toppings. I served it to my whole family the other night with positive reviews. Only my 10 yr old wanted to know what I did to the crust.

I've looked everywhere for the Meatzza recipe. Can anyone help me find it? Since I really don't like eggs, this would be awsome instead of the pizza quiche. Thanks!!

Hahha.. I know the feeling.

I am so glad that I have LaTortillas available, now I use them for burgers and pizza, at least when I am home

I'll let you know as soon as I make it. I had to wait until I could go to the grocery store (this Saturday!) so I'll be making it soon

I used to work at Wendy's and when people asked for no bun, we never thought anything of it. Sometimes they would say that they are allergic to flour or whatnot, but as I said, it never phased us. It was their buck.
