Anyone from north central Florida?

I'm not too far from you. I live a little south of Lake City, which is about an hour west of Jax on I-10.
I just thought it migh tbe fun to have a friend in the area going through the same things I am.
I started Adkins (again) on 1/1/03. Right now feeling a little weak and lightheaded, but thats normal for me, and I know that by this time tomorrow night, I will be feeling better and will most likely be in ketosis, too. I'm looking forward to that! I know a lot of people here say they don't use the ketostix to check, but to me ANY positive reenforcement is a good thing!
I'm married and have 2 grown kids, I'm 50 years old. Would like to hear more about you too.

I like the idea of meeting for lunch now and then (at a low carb-friendly restaurant of course). Even better, think how much fun it might be to also to meet every other month or so to go shopping for a new outfit..a size smaller!
Well, today is day 3 for me. I felt real shaky this afternoon around 3, and even though I had some thin-sliced ham with me to snack on, it didn't help much. I was hungry and grouchy when i got home. BUT, as I was hoping, when I used the Ketostix, I got a nice, light mauve reward for my efforts.
I've lost two pounds, all water I know, but between the scale moving, and the Ketostix turning pink, I feel ready to tackle tomorrow! And one day a time is all I am tackling right now.
