Are sugar alcohols included in your diet?
For me it took a while for them to "catch up" and make me feel sick and bloated. And I didn't feel better until I had not had any for about a week!

I agree sugar alcohols can have an accumilative effect. I used to have a small amount maybe once or twice a month with no problem. I found a store that had some new kinds of bars while traveling though, and bought 3. I ate two over the course of 3 days :P I ended up with all kinds of tummy problems. Now even a small amount of sugar alcohols gives me nasty gas.

Bloat can also be related to dairy, hormones, water retention, sodium intake, not drinking enough water, and so on and so on.

Drink plenty of water to flush out system. Cut back on sodium and avoid franken foods for a day or so and maybe have some tea. (green tea and some herbals are natural duretics).

If it's from veggies, you might try cooking them, or avoiding known gassy ones (cucumber is a major one)

I have been feeling really bloated too the past couple of days, it came out of nowhere! I mean my TOM is two weeks away but I never have symptoms this early. Maybe we should try drinking some more water.

Pork skins do it to me--any more than an ounce a day and I swell up so huge I'm miserable.

Libra81, could you be bloating from ovulation? That gets me, too, every time--in fact, way worse than TOM.

Aha. Maybe they disagreed with you a bit. I tried cashews for the first time last week, and though I really liked them, they seemed to give me an upset stomach both times I ate them.

Nuts are pretty high fiber. I get blotted any time I really increase my fiber amount. Drink more water and it passes.
