Question More Exercise?

I've been doing Atkins for a while and I've lost about 30 some lbs. give or take.
I'm faithful to the plan, and for the most part I have been sticking to under 20 grams of carbs a day. My weightloss has been slow but consistant. My problem is that the scale hasn't budged since about Thanksgiving. I did very well over the holidays and stayed away from cookies and candy. Had a bit too much alcohol. But I seem to be stuck now and am starting to get a bit depressed. Do I need more exercise? I go to Curves or get on the treadmill for about a half an hour. Any advice?

You are only 14 lbs from goal. My guess is that is why you may have stalled BUT, are you truly stalled? Are you losing inches? If you are losing inches then you are not stalled.

I spent more time at the same weight then I have actually lost. But, I remained consistant and calm and I managed to lose a few more pounds. I began working out at Curves and I gained 3 lbs. However, I lost 4 1/2 inches and 1% body fat. Therefore, I don't allow my gain bother me. I will make my goal as my body sees fit. I hope that gives you some peace of mind.

That is the attitude I need to develop. I get too worked up over any type of gain.

Well I lost a small, and I mean tiny amount of inches since Thanksgiving. I didn't gain and my clothes didn't get smaller. I just don't seem to be losing anymore.

All along I've lost alot more inches than pounds. I guess I am just getting frustrated because nothing seems to be happening at the moment.
