Hi everyone,
Just thought I would introduce myself. I am from texas. I started Atkins diet in May.- not much progress-I been having obstacles- have only lost 5 lbs since I started-not sure on the inches. I was very frustrated and ready to quit until I found this site. I thought I was only one who had troubles with slow weight loss. I followed induction strictly and after 4 weeks still and no weight lost. However I do like how I feel doing the Atkins and don't think I could go back to my old habits. So I am in it for the long term I just hope the weight starts coming off soon. If it wasn't for the fat fast for 4 days I would have never even lost that much.
There is lots of helpful information in here and will have to try different things. I am still on induction and will stay in induciton until I start losing some weight.
Terri

Hi Terri,

Congratulations about your success so far. I am glad you stuck with Low carbing. The weight will come off..give it time. I did not lose much weight the past 6 month either..but I lost inches and I feel good.

You should start your own journal to meet people and share your day to day things...come visit me and see what it is all about.

take care and happy Low Carbing
