Angry Mad at Don Pablo's

I ate at Don Pablo's this past weekend. Here is my note to them (via their website) explaining my feelings about the new low carb options at their resturant:

Dear Don Pablo's,

Why is Don Pablos "pretending" to offer low carb choices to it's customers? 15 carbs or more is way too much for most people who are following the low carb lifestyle to take in for one meal!

I ordered the Buffalo Wings the night I was at Don Pablo's. I have ordered Buffalo Wings at MANY resturants since starting a low carb lifestyle 2 years ago. I have NEVER had anyone else serve me Buffalo Wings that contained sugar (and therefore carbohydrates!). Our waitress was so proud of the fact that the wings were homemade with our "special sauce". These types of wings are named for the type of sauce that they have on them that was developed at a resturant in Buffalo, NY. Your "version" should not be called Buffalo Wings and the "special sauce" should be mentioned in the menu!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You people have an awful lot to learn about "low carb". Look at Ruby Tuesdays new low carb menu. They get it! You don't!

Hey Barnacle, I understand your frustration. 15 carbs is a lot for one meal, but I think that restuarants offering low carb options is a MAJOR breakthrough. You have to give them credit for trying to give us something. I know that everything is not 100% Atkins-friendly, but Atkins is not the only low-carb plan out there. Some people are just cutting back their carbs and seeing amazing results. All in all, I'm just glad that there are lower-carb choices out there, even if it isn't 100% what I wanted. And remember, while it is good to get people's attention, you get more bees with honey than vinegar.
Just my two cents.
