Thumbs up Peperami Snacks

Dear all,

I have been eating Peperami as snacks throughout the day. They only contain 0.4g of carbs per 25g stick. Even the extra spicy ones are only 0.7g for the same amount!

OK, they don't exactly fill you up but they are a great stop-gap and taste lovely with a bit of cheddar.

Also, Sainsbury's do a large German Sausage (in an Orange wrapper) which has hardly any carbs but is absolutely delicious. It tastes just like polony!

Happy Munching!

another good snack it to microwave slices of pepperoni for about a minute and let them get real crisp and crunchy. they taste like meat chips i guess you would say. they are also fantastic crumble up and sprinkled over a salad. peace out.

that's an excellent idea for crunch in salads! I loooove salad but I miss the crunchy croutons and nuts that I'm not allowed to have in this early stage of my LC diet so the crunchy pepperonis sound perfect. I've also found that crispy bacon crumbled up is great for salad.
