Question Any low carb ideas for a cough and sore throat?

Hi all,
I came home with a cold, which is now the tickling throat and cough. I know the throat lozenges I'm using are bad, but I need something. Any ideas?
Thanks, Ellen

I know Halls makes sugar free cough drops. My dad uses them. Not sure what the sugar counts or what the the sugar substitutes are in them though.

Herb tea! The steam and warmth really helps. I love Celestial Seasonings Almond Sunset, but it is sometimes difficult to find. Chamomile tea also works well.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll stop on the way home to see if I can
find both the sugar free drops and the tea.

Cool I got one!

When I was sick I think the tea I was drinking was great!

Its called Red Tea by The Republic of Tea - Karoo Tropical Fruit.
One it taste not so bland like green tea but it has 10x the antioxidants and protects the body from free-radicals but most of all it tastes great! It helped alot! I got mine from Barnes and Noble and I use two teabags for a 16oz mug. (I also use half a packet of spenda)
