Default carb-free Whipped treat! takes <5 min

here's a sweet treat that has a lot of possibilities- and only takes no more than 5 minutes to make- and has zero carbs.

take half a pint of heavy cream, and mix it in a bowl with a little less than half a tub of crystal light mix. i use strawberry kiwi, but there are a LOT of different kinds. take an electric egg-beater to it for a minute or two, maybe add a dash of vanilla,

and thats it- a bowl of tangy, fruity, sweet whipped cream. you can also freeze it (im trying that right now.)

the best thing about this is that it has NO carbs, so you can eat it without guilt. and, if you avoid aspartame (which some crystal light mixes have) there are plenty of aspartame-free drink mixes to substitute. let me know if you find an especially good drink mix to do this with!

Thanks for the idea. I love whipped cream, flavored or plain.

Just my 2 cents....heavy cream has 6.4 carbs per cup. So it would be the same per half pint. Just wanted to let you know!

Hey Saccarine! I know, it's a big pain. I have recently found out about carbs in pepper!! This is also true with many other spices I use quite regularly. Heavy cream has .4 carbs per tablespoon, and there are 16 table spoons in a cup. Not too bad for dividing the dessert up! You should definitely look at fitday.com and check it out. I was just browsing the other day...and was just flabbergasted.
