February 7th to May 7th

My goal this time is to work on portion control. I'll accomplish this with occasional IFs, occasional food logging, no snacking and eating simple meals mindful of not putting too much on my plate. I will be keeping net carbs < 20 most days. I don't want to under-eat everyday, so I'll mix in 1 three meal, higher calorie day per week. This goal is rather subjective, so I'll just be counting the good days vs the days that I feel are way off base with these goals.

Day 38 of 90

Good days: 28
Bad days: 10

Two of the three chocolate problems have vanished from the office. One still here that is a daily thing (the candy bowl that is eternally being refilled and usually has chocolate).

So far, three bad days in March.

Good days: 33
Bad days: 10 - Skipping breakfast more often. Getting mentally prepared for working in some longer fasts. After a 3 month hiatus from daily walking (due to about of covid at Christmastime) I'm finally getting back on track with trying to get my 10K steps in each day.

Yesterday was hard - work stress (presentation). Four bad days in March.

Today is a better day.

I'm half way done with this round. The start was a little rocky, but now I'm on a roll. I'm feel like I'm making progress. I'm not weighing myself by choice, though. It's not to avoid anxiety of the scale number bouncing around or stalling out for weeks on end. I'm pretty chill about what the scale says from day to day. But with this challenge I just want to focus on eating right, eating just enough for satiety, stick mealtime eating only, and mixing in regular 18 hour (or longer) fasts. I'm judging my progress by how my clothes fit. So far so good. Hopefully the next time I step on the scale I will be pleasantly surprised.
