Tuesday:

20 minutes light swimming

I can hardly count swimming as exercise because I am just not that strong of a swimmer. But I enjoy the pool and the sun and it always does my mood a world of good!

Thursday:

40 minute walk

Goodness, it was hot today! But it felt great to be outside. I like to have a tan although I do avoid the Florida Crispy Skin look that so many women want here. I do like to look healthy though!

I have just taken a peak into them on amazon.com. Both seems to be interesting, and in a special way contradicting to each other. I am sure, by reading both you will get a "balanced" view of exercising.

We have great public libraries, always buying the new fitness books, so I am sure I can read both very soon :-)

Fall is here, any hiking plans?

Friday:

Leg Extension: 15~20lbs.
Pull Toward Abdomen: 20~40lbs.
Pull Down: 20~40lbs.

Treadmill: 30 min./1.47miles

I was very tired today as I had to get up before dawn to finish a project for a client who needed it today. So it felt very good to exercise in spite of my tiredness. It gave me a second wind!

Sunday:

Shoulder Press: 10~20lbs.

Treadmill: 1.50 miles/30 min.

I was so happy today when I was able to shoulder press 10 times with 20 lbs.! When I first started, I could not do 5. Slowly but surely, I am getting stronger! My treadmill time very gradually is getting faster and I have started to jog for a few minutes during each session. The first time I ever tried a treadmill, ten minutes at a very low speed just about did me in. It does work if you are patient yet persistent! To heck with Jane Fonda .

Sunday:

Back in the saddle today, I am bored with feeling sorry for myself and taking it all out on myself. I got up at 6:30 AM and did a great 3-mile walk early and it was nice and cool.

Let's keep moving!
