Sigh... no change for me; still at 210. I think I'm in a lose-inches phase instead of a lose-pounds one. But that's ok. I'm sticking with the program and my body will change in its own time.

Cheers

Blah! I was sick all weekend, couldn't keep anything down but carbalicious toast, and ended up gaining a pound so i'm at 121. I've changed my not eating after 7:00 to not eating after 6:00, so hopefully that'll make a change for next week. I hope everyone else did better than myself.

I'm down 1.5 this week. I think that some days I am not getting enough calories in. I run out of time to eat b4 6. So, this week I am going to make sure to get more food in.

No food after 6, no water after 10.

I was away all weekend. I am up 5 pounds, but I hope it is water weight. I ate late every night, ate salty food and did not get all my water in. It was a fun weekend - I ate only low carb and I think I ate the correct portion size (Not to sure of that - returant meals can deceive me !LOL). If I don't loose the extra in the next few days I will change my stats.

Well I weighed in this morning to see if I had lost any of the pounds I had gained over the weekend. My scale showed 176.5 (down 24.5 pounds). I think what I have gained is a new scale!

Thumbs up Not eating after 6 pm..So far...Sooo Goood

Hi all,

I have to say ....so far....that these last two days of not eating after 6 p.m. has brought me to 151.5...havent seen that in years!!..YEA!!

It is REALLY difficutlt for me...But, what I've been doing is this:

try to stick to my 6 pm cut-off....

since i am on my way home from work...i'll get water and have an Atkins bar while driving...or 1/2 one...so far it's working..(I was up 154 saturday..)

when i get home...jump into my pjs and head for the bedroom,,,,after spending time w/my DC...even though the DC is on the computer constantly...IM'ing friends...(oooo so glad not to be a teenager...i'd rather have a few lbs to loose than go back to those days...the drama!?!*!..)

Good Luck to everyone...I hope to celebrate a goal to get into the 140's...soon!

Take Care,
--Anne768

Well, I didn't make it throught the football game. Now I have the crave - and I caved every nite this week. Will have to start over - today sounds like a good day. Thank God I've got a fresh start everyday. Up late today, after 6 and I gotta fit some aerobics in today sometime- been really good the past 3 days getting it over in the morning before everyone gets up. Guess I'll have to miss Oprah today - break my heart -lol
Ya'll keep up the good news and let me know if green tea or bullioon works to kick out the snack attacks at nite. Gonna give up cigarettes on the 25th and will need a substitute crutch. Any ideas welcomed.

I lost 3 lbs last night. I didnt eat anything after 4pm. I had a big lunch at noon (2 hamburger patties) so I knew I wouldnt be hungry. Its just a habit to eat dinner for me. But honestly I wasnt hungry. So I had my last snack at 4pm and drank water the rest of night. Of course I was a little shall I say "backed up" so that might be part of it...ewww. But I am so in on this challenge. Its so easy.

This is the craziest full moon I've had for a while. Down to 154.5 #'s this morning which makes 6#' loss for the month. Much better than,,have only been dropping 2-3#'s per month for the last couple months. I'm thrilled...and don't know what to say to inspire ya'll to keep with the program, exercise and IT WILL COME OFF. Hope it's easier to maintain than it has been to get it off. I want to get down to 3 days a week exercise and get the focus off of the scale and on to other productive work

I'm down 1 pound, back to my profile weight.

I seem to get to a weight and then yo-yo one or two pounds around that weight for a while before losing again. Is this pretty common? Do ya'll experience this, too?

Carol, that is exactly what happens to me. I drop a pound or two, then the next day I am back up 1 or 2, then down etc. Seems to bounce around for 3 or 4 days b4 it finally goes for good.

I flirted with the same 1 lb loss all week last week.

It seems the more I lose the longer it takes to quit piddling around with the 1-2 pound yo-yo and drop to a new, lower weight.

But, you know what? I'm not going to gripe about it too much. I'm in this for the long haul and losing slower will allow my skin to sorta-kinda-maybe keep up with my weight lose. Though I'm not going to try to fool myself on that one -- a boob lift and tummy tuck are definitely somewhere in my future.

Cheers
