Sure thing, Teresa.. I actually have another "do" the same evening which I had forgotten about. Luckily, though, it is from 4:30 to 6-ish and just down Kingsway.

I'm bummed but happy at the same time.
I have the opportunity to have dinner at the Chateau Whistler with the man of my dreams. . .
WHY, why, why does it have to be the same night as this dinner I was SO looking forward to?!

They are going to have lovely looking desserts at the Chateau. But I would much prefer to eat something wonderfully low carb - rather than SMELLING something I can't eat (well, I can, but I won't feel well) and watching others enjoy it.

I'm going to be kicking myself no matter what I do. However, like my Mom said, I can always go to the Fish House for dessert. I'll have to do that.

Sorry all, I was REALLY looking forward to my low-carb evening out. I'll have to bow out :-(

I'm brand new to this forum (this is my first post) and to Vancouver! I've just moved here from Australia. I know it's late notice, but would it be OK if I came along to the dinner on Thursday? I can't get on-line much, but it'd be great to meet some locals and talk low-carbing.
