I used to go on almost everyday not sure when that quite was but i used to lol. At leastI didn't have to unbury my treadmill

K, I did another three miles today. I tried HIIT the other day, and believe me, three miles at 4 mph is SO MUCH EASIER than 20 minutes of HIIT!

And shoshie, I think it's great that you're using the treadmill again. Don't get discouraged--you'll advance in no time at all. It takes awhile to get going again.

Hi all,
I did 3 miles today in 45 minutes. Was tired on my way home from work and thought about not doing it, but I knew that I had to post. So thanks everyone
Have a good day,
JoAnne

You sound like me Gramma. I walked outside and told my self that I didnt have time to do the treadmill but then I got to thinking, "I have to post something today" So I got on and walked. Its funny how little things can get you motivated.

Monday: 60 minutes, 3.50 miles
Tuesday:60 minutes, 3.63 miles
Wednesday: 60 minutes, 3.73 miles
Thursday: 33 minutes, 2.00 miles

Thumbs up lets do it

I bought a 2000 dollar treadmill, I used a handful of times. I am ready to shed the 80 pounds of pain... I will start with 1 mile per day and work my way up... any suggestions or tips welcomed....

Kevjol you are not to far behind Gramma with the time amd miles. What speed do you go at? Do either of you switch between walking and running or is this 3 miles a run???

Take Care everyone

Hi Skinny and everyone.

OK... I walked 1 mile today.... I feel alittle silly because you are all doing so great. Although if I can walk 1 mile each day I will be happy. Thanks for pushing me. Susan

I'm walking at 3 mph. I just try to do a little better than last time when I'm on the treadmill.(increasing time or incline or speed)

I was reading your fitday and saw "hamburger pie" what is that?

Hamburger Pie

2lbs of ground beef(lean)
1 package of cream cheese
2 tsp yellow mustard
2 tsp horseraddish
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste
dehydrated onions to taste

1st combine cream cheese, mustard, and horseraddish, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and dehydrated onions in a mixing bowl. Smooth it all out so when its done it will be a creamy yellow almost like the consistancy of the yolk of deviled eggs. Put aside, and split beef in half. Make a large hamburger patty and put into a round cooking dish(or square if you dont have round). Sprinkle with some salt and pepper and spread cream cheese mixture over the hamburger patty and take the other half of beef and make into another patty. Put on top of the patty with the cream cheese mixture and pinch the sides closed sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 325 for 55 min or until well done. Slice like a pie and enjoy!

Its pretty good and it makes alot.
real easy for leftovers or something to take to work

I would suggest seasoning the hamburger meat and I also like to spread cheese on top during the last 10 or 15 minutes of baking

This recipe has a lot of room for tweaking, I'm going to add mushrooms next time.

After you try it you will see the endless possabiltys

Thanks for the recipe. I will try this after I go to the store. All I have now is deer burger which would probably be just as good.
