Hi all!

Hellraiser: I have psyllium, wheat bran, and flax in my kitchen. I ended up not taking them because I had just taken my multi, and fiber will sweep vitamins right through you if you take them at the same time.

Hey everyone. Jenjinx...please feel free to join. Here are my stats for the day.

calories: 1600
fat cals: 1000
fat % 66
carbs: 15
vitamins: yes
water: 110 oz.
exercise: 40 minute walk, elliptical machine for 20, light weight training.

i'm so proud of myself. i was laying in my bed with my workout clothes on debating over whether or not i should work out. and then i just jumped up, put my shoes on, and out the door i went. thank goodness my gym is a two minute walk away and it stays open until midnight. i also was thinking about the rules of the challenge: must exercise...no excuses. Here's to another day.

here are my stats for yesterday.

Calories: 718
Fat:65 grams
Carbs: 20
Protein: 21
Water * cups

Exercise...none. ... (other than pacing around carrying my son who was sick yesterday.)

Vitamins & supplements yes.

I will have to make up for the no exercise bit today and really work on getting my calories up if I want to make the challeng loss of 8 pounds. I know something must be working because my pants feel looser today. Scared to step on the scale incase there is no actual loss yet.

I hope you all have a great day...time for me to go and clean the house.

hey guys...everyone seems to be doing great. not a great day for me...had:

breakfast: string cheese
lunch: salad, cucumbers, grilled chicken, ranch
dinner: two cheese burgers, cucumbers
snack: two darn atkins bars...not at the same time...but darn it. those things are so good. i knew i shouldn't have bought them. i don't know if they cause me to stall or not...but i don't want to risk it. how many carbs should i count each for. i heard they are usually counted for about 10. guess no weightloss today.

i was off track b/c i was visiting with my mother and aunt all day...and they of course wanted to eat out. i wasn't sticking to my schedule...but i will tomorrow. i guess i should be proud of myself...passed up some wonder pastries and vanilla ice cream with fried banannas on top. oh yum...but i didn't even regret it.

I survived the wedding dress fitting. It looks good, I actually have a slim waist size now and all is fine. I just have to loose a bit more on my arms... they still lok to chubby.

carbs: under 20
water: 3 liters
exercise: 1 hour walk + 40 minutes heavy duty weight training for upper body ( will add these everyday now to trim arms).

Have a nice night,
H.

Hi Everyone,

I'm doing okay so far, but am waiting until next week to weigh in. I joined fitday to journal my food but I'm having a hard time making myself actually enter it for some reason.

Probably had a bit too much cheese yesterday, but had a yummy skirt steak and spinach for dinner with no wine (a big deal for me!). Also worked out on the eliptical machine for 45 minutes staight and plan to do the same today. These posts are really helping me...hope everyone has a great Saturday!

hey guys. wow...i was so worried that i was gonna gain today, since i ate all those bars yesterday. BUT actually i think i lost weight b/c my pants are definately much more comfortable today. maybe i needed those extra carbs. anywho i'm still not gonna do that for awhile. gonna try to et the carbs from veggies. or maybe it was a loss of water weight. cuz i had been eating a lot of sodium...so i'm sure i was bloated. but yesterday i didn't. so i'm trying to keep my sodium to about 2500 mg a day. its hard...i love high sodium food.
last night when i was depressed b/c of the bars...i was thinking well you've screwed it up. you could go and get some other high carb food...since you already messed up. but i had no desire to really do this...it is just a habit to think like this. so i didn't...and i'm proud of myself. already doing great today...and the success will continue. Yeah.
