Hi Julie,

Glad to hear you're doing well. I do feel better that I've lost a little more. I've actually bought some clothes in smaller sizes which feels really good. I know that it's going to take a long time to get to my goal so I appreciate the small successes.

Check in when you can. I post at night and on the weekends. Good luck with your studies.

Hi everyone.

I went to the doctors yesterday...was down another 5 lbs...yeah!

Will be seeing him next Thursday too. Looking forward to reporting another loss...not getting my hopes up too much tho...I know it is going to slow down sooner or later...but it would be nice if I was a bit closer to goal before that happens...trying to avoid negative self talk today...been noticing it popping into my head through out the day...have been countering it with a positive...it is amazing how our subconscience works like that huh...Change is so hard! But I know I can do it!

Glad to hear the losses...yeah!!! We will all be where we want to be someday!

Hi Anita,

Congratulations on your loss, five pounds is great. I know what you mean about negative self talk. But it can be overcome with positive thinking and the more you do it the easier it gets.

Hiya Girls

I had a spare five minutes so thought I'd pop in - gosh it seems everyones doing well in the weight loss area - WTG US !!!

Actually I got a really nice compliment today and it meant alot because it was from my skinny little sister. She was shocked cos I'd lost so much in such a short time - and I thought 17lb was'nt that much and I cannot see any difference. But she could and it was a lovely boost to the old ego I can tell you !!!

Well have to go now - take care everyone and I'll be back soon

Hello Everyone

Just thought I'd drop by and see how you were all getting on.

Not much has been happening with me really - I'm currently off work for two weeks, but are'nt going anywhere - just vegging out.

I got a surprise last week though - the whoosh fairy must have been visiting and I'd lost another 3lb - making that 20lb in six weeks - I've not been weighed this week - so I'll have to wait and see.

Well not got much to say really - just wanted to let you all know I'm still LCing and still enjoying it.

Take care

Hi Julie,

Congrats on you loss. Glad to hear you are doing well. Enjoy your vacation.

I haven't weighed in this week - I was on vaca last week and went a little overboard. I've been back on track since last Friday and wanted to give myself a week before getting back on the scale.

Hi Everyone

Well not much to report really - I've not had a weight loss this week, but at least its not been a gain either.

I've tried making the instant bread and it was worth the 3 mins it took to cook in the microwave - so try it.

have also found I love brockwurst sausage with melted cheese on them - very tasty.

Bye for now

Hi Julie,

Glad to hear you are doing well. No loss for me either this week.

Have you tried the mock danish? It is pretty good. I made it for breakfast yestersay and my boyfriend thought it was pretty good too. It's better than just hard boiled eggs for breakfast.

Take care,
Summer

Thumbs up Triple digit club

I am new to this web site and I am not sure that I know what I am doing but I have approx. 220 lbs to lose - have lost 32 lbs total now, 25 of them on Atkins Diet. I have been on this diet for approx. 8 weeks and I am doing well but I sure do like being able to communicate with others who are going through the same thing I am. There were a few people here at work who started this diet with me but they all dropped out after less than a week. I don't want to think that I am doing this all on my own!

Thanks for listening to me.

Bye for now.

Hi everyone

Hows things going? Sorry I've not been around for a while, but I've had major things both at home and work to sort out - but nearly all done now thank god !!! Wont be long before I start the new job in September - but for now I can take it easy and enjoy the summer with my daughter.

In between all of this I've still been low-carbing and can report I've lost another 1lb this week. I'm pleased with that, but unfortunately TOM has arrived again - so the fashionable beached whale look is upon me once again lol.

Well I'd better close up for the evening and I'll be looking in again soon.

Take care and happy LCing

Hi Julie,

I've been wondering where you've been. Congrats on the additional pound. I've finally lost an additional 2, as of yesterday. I have to say seeing the scale finally move made my day!!!

Enjoy your time off.

Hi Summer

Am glad to see you've managed to get the scales moving again - its really disheartening when they either jump up and down or not move at all.

I still feel like a 'whale', but am having to try and drink lots of water again. I've not been drinking the required amount and that could be why its taking so long for me to get under that 15 stone mark.

Anyway have a good weekend and speak to you soon.

Hi Julie,

How's it going? Are you getting ready to start work?

I've been working on drinking more water too and exercising more - but the scales not moving anymore. I guess we just have to wait until it's ready to move.

Take care,
Summer
