Hey Nancy! I searched for a Whole 30 thread and here you are. and I am there babbling on about resistant starch. Why my bio now says don’t pay any attention to what I wrote before 2021

Gosh, we have tried a lot of diets! "How many diets have you tried" is actually one of the questions we ask in the all the Optimising Nutrition classes…always funny responses from older women like myself who started dieting in the 1960s….Let me count the ways.

Anyway, a new version of Whole 30 was released yesterday, based on new research over the past 15 years, and some of the "Rules" were amended. A podcast with Melissa Urban explaining:

Interesting discussion about "seed oils"…she is no longer is overly worried about using PUFA oils in home cooking vs. deep frying from McDonalds or ultra-processed foods. [starts at minute 20]. In real life, people eat out! So more flexibility, based on research, a few other changes you may like Her meals are now high protein, lots of fiber and veggie, large breakfast, light dinner, paleo and satiety plans are converging.
