Oh yes! You can make all sorts of herbed and seasoned butters. Soften some butter in a bowl, add seasonings, like fresh basil, garlic, cracked pepper, etc. Then transfer to some wax paper, parchment paper or plastic wrap. Roll it into a log. Then you can just slice some off and put it on top of your meat (chicken, beef, pork, etc.) Makes an instant delicious sauce. Learned it on Food TV.
