For many of us, eating breakfast actually makes us hungrier thought the day. Don't remember why but someone of us get large insulin surges when we eat in the morning. I am one of those weird people, I rarely eat before 10 am because I am always hungry earlier more throught the day.
As for beans, if you don't like them then don't eat them. If you like SB otherwise then follow as much as you can. Don't eat breakfast, don't eat eggs, don't eat beans (yuck).
You could read up on other plans and see if there is something else you may like.
