Stay off that scale!!
Chris, I'll tell you what... I did the scale thing every single morning when I awoke, pee-d and disrobed. For a few days I saw no movement at all.. then down a pound, then up a pound, then down 2 pounds.... it was driving me nuts!!!
Then I remembered that you're supposed to average, which of course means you get on the scale every day. I've decided to try weighing only once a week. I'll be able to tell if I'm being successful by how my clothes fit, but I'm going to try really hard not to think about the weight.
I know I'm eating better, healthier food and I'm staying away from the things that got me here in the first place. Right there is a major goal!
You'll make it.. keep posting.. we'll keep answering.
