You aren't "bad". I smoked cigarettes, drank booze like a trooper and had about six diet cokes a day until just a month ago. For me, change needed to be comprehensive, because each bad habit caused cravings for the next. So if I was smoking, I'd want a drink. Then I'd smoke more. And the next day, I'd drink unlimited diet coke and pounds of carbs and fat to cure the hangover. For other people, change can be compartmentalised.
Maybe you're one of those!
