As long as people are not hurting themselves, I don't see the harm in someone who want's to lose 10-15 pounds posting on the College and Teen forum. I am a 20 year old co-ed and I post there a lot. Although some people in that group need to lose justa few pounds, there are a bunch of us there who need to lose a lot more. Some people in our group may come off as vain and unrealistic, but come on! THEY ARE TEENAGERS. In general, if you wan't to chat about this WOE w/ people your own age, they are all really supportive, regardless of whether they are TDC or not.

i dunno- i think we all have something in common... self esteem, confidence issues, etc. granted TDCers have added health concerns, etc... but if anything, i pity the people you are referring to because they really should just be happy when they are already at a healthy weight, but i can certainly understand and sympathize with people who are never happy with themselves regardless.
