Thanks everyone for all your kind words! And I'm not resting on my previous progress. I'm already down further again today! That's always so nice to see to see lower numbers on the old scale!

Cheers!

PS...for those who failed to see it before and are either fans of Star Trek or of JRR Tolkien's hairy-footed Baggins' note the link at the bottom of this post. Almost sure to bring a smile. Enjoy. (And I am still damned proud of your fabulous achievement, Dean! I look forward to the not-to-distant future when I read the post of YOURS that says: "I am at goal! Cheers, hell...where is the chilidog!")

Ha! I don't think I'll ask for a chilidog though! But I really like the thought of it being in the "not-to-distant future"! That's what's so cool to think about!!

And I did take a look at that Bilbo song you have the link to. Amazing! I'm certainly glad the movie managed to be a bit better than that!!

I have been a bit disapointed to see some "old timers" disapear from around here. While I hope they have simply left the forum and are doing fine, I kind-of doubt it. And that's sad as this has been working so good for me that I wish everybody could do as well.

I'm certainly glad to see you MisterE are keeping at it!

Way to go!

Dean,

Great job - you are doing awesome. I am a huge LOTR fan also.

What do you think - will they let Peter Jackson do The Hobbit??

Hi Jim,

The last I heard Peter Jackson say (who by the way my kids insist I look look like if I grew out my hair), was that two studios have competing rights to The Hobbit. One has distribution rights, the other has production rights (or something like that). He said he has plenty of time making King Kong to wait for the lawyers to make more money arguing over who will get what in the end.

But I think the studios realize they would be throwing away a LOT of money not to have Peter Jackson do it, so hopefully they will come to some agreement.

Cheers!
