Welcome! My dh is not thin, but he thinks he is. My advice is to google some low carb recipes and find some you really like so you won't get bored, and try to stay away from Frankenfoods. They stall a lot of people! Good luck and know that we are always here for you!

Default Im in ketosis!

Hello everyone,
Today is day three, and I am in ketosis.I really feel good and with all the advise from everyone here I am doing great.It is amazing that when you are feeling down and you come on here how much it can pick you up.The people here are so real and honest and you can say how much you weigh,and there isnt going to be any negetivity. I just want to say how wonderful and brave everyone here is to undertake this way of life.Good Luck to everyone and thank you all so much. Tracey19

Good luck Tracy and welcome to the forum. My tips would be to make sure you drink lots of water every day because you'll lose a lot on induction and if you don't keep hydrated it'll make you feel lousy. The other one would be to make sure to take the time to prepare proper meals. It's easy to give in when there is nothing ready at meal time and have lo-carb snacks handy for those times you're feeling peckish.

Welcome Tracey! No need to feel alone with all the support here. You can do it!! I am new on Atkins myself, but feeling good and have shed a few pounds already, and I found that with the first loss my motivation skyrocketed so I am confident it will become a WOL for me. There are SO many inspirational stories here and so much wisdom to take with you. I think you are on the right road with coming here. GL to you hun - I look forward to reading your posts!!
