The last vestiges of BF on a male are typically the gut, specifically the circumference around the navel and all the way around to the edges of the back. You'll have to get down to 8% BF or even less to see all the abs clearly. But when you're at those levels, all that ab work will show nicely.

Good luck.

I couldn't have said it better myself. In fact, I think I said something similar yesterday on another thread.

On the plus side, when you DO drop the fluff, your abs will be there, waiting for you! And your gut will look, if not quite "better" while you've got this fluff, it will look a lot less bad - flatter is always better than paunchier LOL!

WRT building up the ab muscles, the bigger your ab muscles are, the faster they will begin to appear through the layer of fat. Just really concentrate on pulling "IN" and not pushing "OUT" when you develop them. Big, flat, rippling abs look HOT!

PS sorry for the threadjack trainerdan!

I'd like to see these questions dealt with in a CKD FAQ:
1. Mid week re-feeds. Pros and cons. When to do. What to watch for.
2. Dextrose in PW shake.
3. ALA
4. Merits of depletion workout vs. tension workout for the final workout before carbup.
5. Cycling calories to break a plateau.
6. Other methods of breaking a plateau.

Cool. Thanks for the post.

It broke a stall for me - dropped down from 143 to 138 ish so far. (I got stuck after bulking in the fall)

We'll see. So hard to find the right path, but at least here, it's variations on a theme.

Cheers
