Yes, Grimalkin, I remember a tall can, similar in size to a Guinness can, perhaps with one of those internal floater devices.

The low-carb nature of Guinness is doubtful: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...ess#post1519059

yeah, I'm not sure myself about how much is really in my draft Guinness, usually in a 20 oz. pint at the bar... the problem is that there are so many differnt kinds of Guinness, there's the bottle with the thingy in it, the can with the thingy in it, the bottle without the thingy (which I think is a completely different kind of beer, much stronger and many more carbs), and of course the draft at your local pub - I've looked and never found a reliable source explaining the no. of carbs in the different varieties.

ha haa, so I'll assume my draft Guinness from my friendly neighborhood Irish bars MUST be the Guinness that I've seen reported at 5 or so carbs per 12 oz, heh heh!!!

Default Rolling Rock - Green Light

Rolling Rock has a new Green Light lc beer out there that tastes (to me) a lot like St. Pauli Girl. It's nice when you want something a little out of the ordinary but lc legal.
