Wow - I also now feel I"m not alone. Same exact location for...bottom inside front teeth...major tartar buildup and I noticed it soon after I started low carbing.

I am actually going for an additional (in between checkups) cleaning next week due to this problem. I will mention low carbing and see if the hygienist has any knowledge of this strange phenomenon!

Wow, what an interesting thread. I just went into the Dentist today for my half yearly checkup and cleaning. Dentist said my teath were great. But when the hygentist was cleaning I noticed that she was spending more time scraping with the tools on my front teeth. I asked her about it and she said that as people get older they tend to get more of a build up. Said something about chemical(hormone?) changes in your mouth causing it.
