Can I join your group????
I'm Holly--36yo--mom to 4 great kids. Sarah-8y, Rachel-7y, Jacob-3.5y, and Anna--2y still breastfeeding. This is my first year sending my kids to school. I've homeschooled the past 2y. Now I have 3 kids in school. My older ones are in 3rd and 2nd grade. My son attends the special preschool for developmental delays. He has a dx of Mixed developmental disorder (I think they made that one up!!!) He seems to have symptoms of every disorder out there. He also has a language disorder. He just stated back to school last week.
I'm also a RN--but only just went back to work in July--on call (2 days/month)
I started Atkins in May 2003 and have lost about 20 lbs. My dh and I went off of it in Aug-Sept. I started up again this past Monday. I hope to reach my goal by Christmas now---(instead of Oct!! LOL)

Hi all, I'm so glad to read over all the posts sence i've been gone, I hope everyone is doing good. I have'nt lost anything , I think im completly stalled its been about 3 weeks now with no change, no inches no weight loss. I have been staying within the 20 carbs but I have been eating some of the low carb bread. I dont know if that has something to do with it, but now that we have lights I've slowed down on the bread, but darn it was good.
The hurricane is past, thank goodness. I get so stressed during times like this, we really had no damage to speak of but a ton of people did. Tomorrow makes it a week and the kids still have'nt been back to school,a lot of people still are without power. Hardly any stores or anything is open around here so I have cabin fever big time.
Well I'm gonna hit on Fitday and see if i can remember what i've been eating the last couple of days. I will check-in again Ya'll take care.
kara
