Hey Velvet, I got the liquid sucralose at Coles up here, I've only seen it on the shelf once and I grabbed 4 bottles of the stuff at the time, you only use a drop at a time and its great stuff, tastes much better than splenda and has 0g carbs cause it is liquid.

Default Liquid sucralose

I will look out for it too... what section of Coles - sugars section or health food or other???

Is sucralose the stuff that splenda's made from? Can you cook with the liquid??

(more questions than a kid on a sugar rush :-) Sorry.)

Katt

Yes, Splenda is made from sucralose, and you can bake with it. See their website for lots of information (I am going to put a separate post on the Newbies forum for wider reading). www.splenda.com

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news about the carbs in yoghurt, but you all need to read this: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=138905

"There are still carbs in yogurt. I am lactose (milk sugar) intolerant and will still have reactions if I eat yogurt."
Atriana.

I find this interesting because, both my children were lactose intolerant from birth but one of the things the Gastro-enterologists said was that Yoghurt was OK because the lactose had been digested during formation. Maybe believing this I did not notice any adverse side effects, but I certainly did not see any.
