Thanks! All of these are great ideas that I will have to try. Sounds like the Sugar Free jello is quick and easy whereas the recipe with real key lime juice is going to have the correct taste. I'll do some carb computations on these.

1/2 cup lime juice is estimated to be between 8 and 11 g of carbs so let's say 9.5 g.

egg yolks are 0.61 g per yolk

1 cup of heavy whipping cream is 6.64 g of carbs

Splenda -- ??? g of carbs

Regarding substituting heavy cream for milk

The Atkins website recommends 1/2 heavy cream and 1/2 water

I should have added that the key lime pie has a total of 33.69 grams of carbs, so if you cut it into 8 servings, each would have 4.21 grams. Not bad for something that tastes SO good .

egg yolks - 2.44
cream - 8.25
lime juice - 11.0
Splenda - 24.0

As close as I can tell, Tammy's recipe works out to less than 9 carbs for the entire batch...one and an "oonch" per serving, assuming 8 servings! That's definitely worth a try.
