Just remind yourself of all the reasons you decided to start this WOL in the first place. Then think of how pleased you will be as each minigoal passes and you don't even fit into your old clothes anymore. Finally, decide on some strategies to get you through the tough times-ways to cope with stress and temptation. If necessary, write them down. Dr. Atkins' books list some ideas, such as carrying bars with you. I personally like to do controlled breathing, prayer, maybe a small glass of tomato juice or a diet soda. Talking to a Diet Buddy is another idea that works.
