Hi Andrea- 100 is just a # like any other. If you are fit, it doesn't matter. Of course, drinking enough fluids is key to having a good experience. I've also been told that the more you do in hotter weather, the more efficient your body gets with electrolytes. I notice this too. Where I used to have caked salt on my face and white patches on my shorts, now I really don't.

Rode the 2010 MSBike charity ride in Mooresville, AL. 73.9 mi, 1,735' of climb and almost 4,000 cals. 102F and headwinds!

Ride to Fat Girl's BBQ Cafe. Good thing I toss LC out the window on bike rides

65.4 miles at 15.2 mph. 3,600' climb and about 3,200 cals. I did NOT eat that many while riding
