You too, Miss Scruff!

I took yesterday off.
I have come to know that most everyday, I'm going to get down on that floor and stretch my ass off.
And my body has been thanking me.

Thanks! I do feel so much better and ready to get back to the challenge!

Bun & thigh workout, followed by 10 min of the basic workout. My abs are so out of shape it's gonna take a while to get through a complete workout. Loving the bun & thigh though, it's getting easier. Hopefully the butt will soon be back up where it belongs.

Im BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK, coughin and all, BUT Im back .. 20 mins Yoga and 20 mins Pilates.

Picture this. Ear infection and sinus from the flu. My balance is way off. 4 kids sitting on the couch laughing hysterically. Ahhhh, the joys of motherhood .. I think I fell over at least 6 times.

i worked in an exercise salon 4-5 days a week, and did pilates and yoga for 45 minutes, 3 times per shift. (an 8hr day)

I would do most of the stuff that is on all the pilates tapes, that you're all watching, and integrating enough of those moves, as many repititions as i enjoy for a full 45 minutes. I know there are some exericises on the Winsor tapes that you all really like... do those a few more times than what the tape does.

I have a jelly roll for a pooch, I am using my little 3lb hand held weights in my pilates where I'm doing millions of "powerhouse" exercises and i'm raising my head. Now you're working the double chin, and your arms with the weights. you'll see what i mean. it's all there.

have any of you tried to do a routine of what you know, without the tapes yet? Put on your favorite show, get on the floor and start stretching, working legs, butt, scissors, crunch's, and next thing you know, it's nearly been an hour! right?

BlitzedAng..take it easy and be kind to yourself..your purpose is to get well NOT be a source of amusement to those "delightful" kids!![why do they always get to catch us looking stupid anyway?!?!] be careful that you don't take 1 step forward and 2 back..let your body heal itself!!

Pilot gal..thank you.BUT..d'ya think i need to do some sort of cardio work as well to shift my last few pounds?

MissScruff..please make sure you are fully recovered before you start doubling up on pilates [ i'm quite sure you've been doubled over enough just lately !!]

Nutsn seeds and Talla...sigh..I MUST move on and tackle that next level..you're putting me to shame!
Hows that carb cycling going?

18/18...BTW!!! just thought i'd throw that in casually at the end!!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ALL!!

Wow Kiwigal 18/18 is great. I've missed too many days since starting.
Bun & thigh again for me today. I'm going to try the modified version of the 20 min workout this afternoon. My neck was very sore after only 10 min yesterday. I can't believe how out of shape I am.
Christmas is just around the corner I need to get more focused!
Have a great day everyone!!!!

I have just done the accelerated pilates workout again [50 minutes]..last time i struggled BADLY with all the moves...well, although i had to hit the pause button a few times to ensure the technique was correct..I almost..almost could do them this time. Drawing in that powerhouse really does give control!!
I had to scroll back to see when i'd last given this dvd a try [28 oct] so in 8 days..I"ve gotten WAAAy better!!! I was dripping in sweat...but felt GOOD!!!
Dh just came home and i proudly told him that i'd done it, and that i had a great sense of well being..his comment "in other words..you're Knackered!!!"
But babes its a good tired feeling...a real sense of achievement..so I may try to do this dvd every other day, starting on monday.
Hopefully the other dvds will arrive soon, so that i have more choice....I'm still excited ladies!!!

I am 15/19. Wow lead the way kiwigal - you are amazing! You are almost at 20 - remember 10 to feel better, 20 to look better and 30 to tranfrom your body. Keep it up!!!

My problem is time - I know whine, whine we are all busy. I just need to make this a priority for me but I am also committed to doing cardio daily. It's a dilema - and sometimes the schedule just wins over me. Well today I won.
