Default No PMS on Atkins!

Another thing I find amazing is I dont have pms. For the first time in years I dont have those darn awful symptoms of PMS. I am expecting Tom anyday now.

Mine have greatly reduced. I don't swell up nearly as badly!

I saw this thread and decided to check it out. You know, my symptoms aren't as bad either.

Besides the bloat I would be grumpy. It hasn't been as bad. My husband likes that.

So, bonus.

I used to suffer awful PMS - especially the emotional end of it - every symptom - nausea, migraines, cramping, irritability, weight gain, you name it.

Now, 13 months into this WOE, the only symptom I have is still a bit of the irritability but all other aspects are so minimal there are times I forget I have it!

There are some many benefits besides the weight lose on this diet. Makes it so worth it to me to do this for life. I used to have awful pms that would last close to 2 weeks before my period. My symptoms where fluid retention, irrtability, anxiety, breast tenderness, headaches and just feeling lousy. Thanks to Atkins I dont have to suffer no more!!!!!

I have noticed that my pms symptoms are reduced also.. hardly any breast tenderness or backaches... and also.. no breaking out!! ( I asked my DH if I was grouchy as usual at TOM, and he just kinda looked at me.. might of been scared to answer ). BUT, one thing I have noticed is that I am having some serious cravings. They are making me miserable. I haven't given in ... but last night I was wanting something sweet and I didnt feel like a low carb bar.. so I was standing in the kitchen at 11:30 pm making a custard!? (low carb of course) And then, I took one bite of it and didnt want anymore..so bizzare. And this morning I was eating pieces of swiss cheese dipped in guacamole. I am wondering if these cravings will stop as soon as I "start" or if they continue on for another week. I noticed this morning I had lost another lb... and I thought I was retaining water I am wondering if I will have a woosh afterwards? I would love to hear from other ppl. Thanks!
