Default Diet V8 Splash - Berry flavor

I picked up some Diet V8 Splash (Berry flavor - they didn't have other Diet flavors, so I couldn't compare) at Food Emporium this afternoon. I was disappointed that they didn't have Diet Rite, which I still can't find, but I'm digressing. Well, it's not perfect - 2 grams of sugar included in the juice - but it is sweetened with Splenda. Who knew? 3 grams of carbs per serving. I wouldn't do it if I were on Atkins Induction phase, but if you're further along or doing another low-carb plan, it's a good alternative if you need something sweet and yummy but still low in carbs! I've always been a fan of V8 Splash anyway, so this is perfect.

The downside is that it was 4.59 for a bottle. Ah, the pocketbook downsizes right along with my pants sizes as I continue low-carbing...

What part of the world do you live in, Kareny? Perhaps someone can help you find Diet Rite, if we knew?

I'm in Manhattan, where practically everybody is on Atkins, literally (I meet someone new on Atkins once a week), so I'm sure SOMEBODY carries Diet Rite around here. Just not Food Emporium, Duane Reade, Gristedes or Whole Foods Market.

Well, for what it's worth, I found Diet Rite at Safeway, Haggens/Top Food and Costco, all in Bellingham

Also Diet Ice Botanicals and Cascadia, both made with Splenda.

Don't have any of those here, sadly.

Where ARE all the Manhattanites, anyway? I mean, really, half the city is on this diet. I guess since we all get so much face-to-face support, not many of them are coming onto the forums to get online help...

Just bought a year's supply of sugar-free candies with my "Easter basket" investment from the parenst! A year ago, I would have bought a bunch of Cadbury creme eggs and finished them in a week, after much ups and downs. Now, I'm looking at how much chocolate I bought for $25, going... "Oh my god, HOW am I gonna eat all this?"

I thought about cheating and buying the real stuff, but I didn't even want to. Yay! Somebody said it on another thread - it's not a psychological weakness, it's a physiological one. Get the body chemistry straightened out, and it's amazing how much willpower you have!

Perhaps you could post in the US Forum and ask who else is in Manhattan? I'm sure there's a LOT of ppl from there And once you find a few, you can ask about sources for LC products, etc.
