I've only been here a couple of days. I was wondering if there is a LC dictionary around here. I don't know what a sticky is? What does ASDLC stand for? There are a whole bunch of over acronyms and words I don't get.

A sticky is a thread that always stays on top of page one.

Hi Grandpa,

You'll find many acronyms in "Low Carb Tips" on the orange bar at the top of the screen.

A "sticky" is a thread that is deemed to be important enough to be read over and over. Normally threads get pushed to the bottom of the page when a newer one comes along, but sticky threads are "stuck" at the top.

ASDLC is the alt. support. diet. low-carb group. It's an outside low carb group that is also shown here.

If you think of anything else that's not in "Low carb lingo" (in low carb tips), ask again. Someone here will know.
