Cool Tastes "crappy" ...Pardon the pun!

Anyway...without going into too much detail...I have had problems with constipation since following the Atkins plan.
I bought physillium husk caplets and took those for a few days without much releif so I bought some Phosphate of soda liquid saline laxative.
It is horribly nasty tasting (THEY call it "Lemon-Ginger flavored ) but it really does the trick.
Just thought I would share as I know several others are having this problem.

Default Hey MaryToU

I haven't seen "Smooth Move" tea...I will have to check the health food store.
All I know is that after not being able to "go" for a few days...it was a major relief!!!! I do advise anyone that wants to try it, DO NOT BE FAR FROM THE RESTROOM for at least a couple hours!!!!
The Phosphate of soda is also used by patients preparing for surgery....my Mom had to use it before her colonoscopy.

I have had this trouble since starting Atkins. Psyllium husks just make me bloated. I take a stool softener (not a laxative) to help things along. The active ingredient is docusate sodium 100mg . IT DOES NOT HAVE A STIMULANT IN IT!!!!
It is what my doctor gave me after having my c-sections. The directions say to take one or two caps as a single dose daily, but my doc gave me one about every six hours. I take one in the morning and one at night. If I am having a lot of trouble, I may double my night dose.
