You pick yourself up and get back onto the lc wagon. This happens to most people-don't stress too much or beat yourself up over it. It is good that you came here and confessed!

It was just one day, things happen, momentary lapses and such. Don't let yourself get too down about it. Tomorrow is another day. Drink lots and lots of water tomorrow and keep your carbs low. You've done great so far!!! Jump back on the LC wagon like Paleoanth said.

I'll tell you what you do...you forgetabboudit (my Italian accent just came out...even if it ISNT very good!) . Ya think this doesnt happen to the best of us? You went off for one day, I just came off of a 3 week carb invested binge! Don't sweat it, Shontesa...just do what the others have said and jump right back on and keep riding. Hold on TIGHT though, cause the ride isnt smooth at all times.

Default Been there, done that!

it was yesterday in fact, afer a great day I broke down at 5 pm and ate some Miss Vickie's potato chips, a few small chocolate bars and some sesame snaps. I confessed in my journal last night and I'll give you the same advice given to me -

"Put that behind you and go forward. Start again right now!"

Couldn't ahve said it better myself! Don't beat yourself up, trust me it doesn't help and I know, I'm the queen of self punishment - this isn't easy, food is an addiction.

Hang in there,

Tiffany

Although it kills me to admit this, I too went of my WOE. It happened last night and today was even worse.. But tomorrow is a new day and I plan to do well. I hope I didn't totally screw everything up here and have this lead to a FOREVER long stall.. I hope everything works out well for you too.. I hope it makes you feel.. somewhat better I guess that you're not the only one. Keep us all updated.. We can do this!

P.S- I'd just like to say that cheating wasn't worth it.. I feel SO sick now..

Amanda

Do a strict induction diet for the next 2 days to make sure you get back into ketosis. Then, forget about it. Everytime I cheat and then go on a strict induction I drop a couple of pounds. Hopefully this will happen to you, too.

Don't let it get you down. Made Quiche Lorraine for dinner intending to eat only the filling part which is OK. Sitting there talking to my daughter and I realized I had eaten the crust without thinking. 73 carbs for the day. Induction here I come.
And after weighing in a pound less this morning.

Barb, that reminds me when I drank Regular Caffeine free coke on accident. The labels are the same. I drank a whole 2 liter, not realizing it wasn't diet.

Btw - we both are in Central California. :-)

I noticed that. I'm in the Sierra Foothills East of Stockton.

I am south of Modesto. The foothills are nice.

The map shows us east of Stockton but Modesto is actually closer. We go there often. Especially when needing building supplies and such because of Home Depot and Lowe's. My daughter goes to shop at Costco, too.
