Default protein powder

HI,

I saw a recipie for low carb pancakes using protein powder. Is any protein powder okay? I will use atkins syrup. yummmmmy!!

I usually use to drink Whey to go Protein powder, it's vanilla flavored and really tastes good.

I made some pancakes using protein powder -actually I used "Designer Whey". Its not made specially for baking so if it worked, I suppose any kind would. Gotta be honest though, my 'cakes were pretty flat (even w/ salt & baking powder) and they were SUPER dry (like they'd get caught in your throat). I dobt if my dog would even eat them and she eats ANYTHING (even raw veggies!). Pork rind french toast is MUCH better!!!

Here's the link for the "french toast" . The protein powder I used was vanilla, too...They make great shakes, I just didn't like the pancakes. However, the batter was great raw!
