March 2003 100

Total cholesterol went from 176 to 191??

"Officially" lost 13 lbs since December 2002.

Started low carb in January 2003!!

I need no other proof!!!

Congratulations! It's so amazing how quickly your body responds favorably to your new WOL.
I hope my results in June (my next scheduled bloodwork appmt.) goes well. My doctor isn't thrilled about my low-carbing to put it mildly, but I said let's see what the results are in June and she agreed. You're an inspiration!

Scott-

Your cholesterol actually went down. The 176 has to be a false reading because Total Chol=HDL+LDL+Triglycerides/5. If your triglycerides and HDL were off the scale in December, there's no way they could compute a Total at all. It has to have been way up in the high 200s at least. The triglycerides component alone would've contributed 100 points to the total if the raw number was >500. You show incredible progress.
