Default Holy CRAP I scored a 203!!!!!

I have been having a pretty much constant yeast infection for the last year, and have just treated it AGAIN.

I have been lc for about 6 mos.

I saw this forum link that I never seemed to notice before and took Dr. Crooks Test. 203, sounds like I might need to do something about it, huh?

Jeesh, now what do I do now?

I am perusing the links from the sticky up at the top, but there is just so much information. Help.

If you want to try to control it with diet and supplements here is a good link to start. It has specific information and supplement information. If you have insurance or want to pay yourself there are good prescription anti-fungal meds out there. But if you don't get the balance back in your body, it'll just come back in time.
Candida Diet This is just a place to start. Read it all the way through. And keep reading. Here is a good article that explains the whole thing in simple language.
Is Candid Yeast Harming Your Health
Feel free to look in my journal and the others there in their journals too, most of us in there are fighting candida. You can ask more questions there too if you want. Good Luck.

Thanks Liz, reading that stuff doesn't make it sound so difficult. Sounds like I can still eat nuts and seeds, just not dry roasted. Which is fine, because I like raw nuts better anyhow, digging out my nut cracker now.

Dairy products will be the hardest, I'm not a carb addict, but I am definately a cheesaholic. That's what I loved so much about lowcarbbing, an excuse to eat lots of cheese. Oh well.

Good luck on your new journey. I started LC because of this. I went very strict for 6 weeks with lots of supplements. When my energy started to return and I started getting muscle pains, I slowly added cheese back in my diet. I have to be careful because I had IBS and I don't want it back!! If you have any question, feel free to stop by my journal and we'll see what we can do to help!!
