Hi everyone!
My name is Beth. Technically, I'm not from Indiana, I'm from Illinois. but i live right on the border (Lansing)...and am very familiar with IN. My boyfriend lives in Hammond. I'm 10 days into the Induction part of the Atkins diet. I feel great...lost cravings after 2 days, but I'm not seeing the results. I guess i have lost about 2 lbs. so far. I guess I was looking for a more dramatic start. I'm in it for the haul though...i have never started a diet where the cravings stopped so easily. I would love to have some buddies online to discuss and support.

start: 182lb
now 9/13: 180lbs
Goal: 135-140 lbs.

ps: other NW IN (NIKKI) Have you ever gone to Baum's Natural food store? I was wondering how it was. I've gone to Sunrise Foods in Lansing..its okay, not a huge selection of Atkins, but pretty good.

I'm another Buckeye transplant, been in Mishawaka two months, coming from Columbus, Ohio. In my opinion, the Columbus folks are, um. "heftier" than the folks I see around here.

I am a born and raised Hoosier now living in Crawfordsville, IN. Even being in a small town, we are now seeing lc items locally. We can find items at Kroger's, a few items at Wal-mart, but find the majority at GNC. All of our office personnel are lc'ing and have each asked Kroger's to increase their selection.

If anyone knows of locations in Lafayette that have a large selection of items, please let me know. Thanks!

Default Lafayette locations

Hi there. There are several Lafayette locations for LC food. I shop at Marsh on 26 and Creasy, and they have your basic selection of Atkins and LC foods. Also, try Nature's Pharm in the Kmart plaza (at the intersection of 38 and 52, I think). They have a lot of LC products. A new natural store called "Sunspot" is opening soon on Sagamore parkway... I'll check it out when it opens and report back!

I was born in Evansville and lived the first 10 years of my life there. Then it was on to the Norwalk, California area for the next 5 years. We spent a year in Kansas before we finally returned home to southern Indiana. Two years later I married my husband and we have resided in Fort Branch for the last 22 years. That is about 20 miles north of Evansville and about 25 miles south of Vincennes.

California was nice but it wasn't home. My heart has always been in Indiana.

Live about 30 miles north of Vincennes and 25 miles south of Terre Haute, IN.
The stores here are finally selling more lc products. Glad to see the fast food places have alternatives.
